Coach Canada Bus Service
There is a coach bus service from the Toronto airport (Terminals 1 and 3) to Bowmanville (where the ceremony is). The bus actually drops you off at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Bowmanville, which is less than 500 metres from the ceremony site, so this is a good option if you're coming a day or two before. Just be warned that the bus only runs three times per day. To travel to Bowmanville, you have to call ahead to make a pick-up reservation: 1-800-461-7661
Unfortunately, this bus service doesn't go to Oshawa, but to get from the ceremony site to the reception site, we can help to arrange van taxis for larger groups.

Other Public Transportation
If you'd like to brave regular public transportation, here is the best way:
Toronto Pearson International Airport to Bowmanville or Oshawa :
1. Buy a T.T.C. (Toronto Transit Commission) ticket (cost for Toronto zone: $3.00). Take the "58A Malton" bus line Eastbound from Terminal 3 (Arrivals level) or Terminal 1 (Ground level) to Lawrence West subway station at the end of the line (Route map here)
2. Go into the subway and take the Yonge-University-Spadina line south (Glencairn is the next stop) to Union Station (the big train station in Toronto). You can use the same ticket for the subway that you did for the bus from the airport because they're both T.T.C. (Subway map here)
3. Get off at Union Station, and buy a ticket for the GO Train for the Lakeshore East (Eastbound) line, and ride to the Oshawa GO Station.
4. From here, I would take a taxi to the hotel/reception site. Sadly, the reception hall is directly across from the Oshawa GO Station but on the other side of the highway, so you have to take a bus to go around if you want to go by public transportation. You can buy a ticket for the Durham Region Transit at the Oshawa GO Station, and then take bus 419 or 420 (unfortunately, though, they only run Monday-Friday.) If you want to go right to the ceremony site first, when you get off the train at the Oshawa GO Station, you can transfer to a bus to continue on to the Bowmanville station (Waverley @ Baseline). From there, your best bet is also to take a taxi, because the bus system is highly irritating (the taxi won't cost much, it's not far... there just doesn't happen to be a bus that goes directly along from the station to the ceremony site). See above for taxi information.
